Simply the best (Charter) 24-31 september 2022

Traveling from Hurghada we will visit ‘The Golden Triangle’ of the Red Sea: The Brother Islands, Daedalus Reef and Elphinstone. It will be high season and we will have a great chance to encounter the Longimanus, the scalloped hammerhead shark, the grey and white-tip reef shark, the thresher shark, the silky and maybe even a tiger.

This week the boat is chartered by an awesome Dutch dive team, however there are options to join them on board.

Simply the best (South)

With so many great sites to choose from in Egypts Red Sea you might wonder what simply the best is out here. Well in this route we focus of 3 of the best sites: Brother Islands, Daedalus Reef and Elphinstone. This threesome is also known as the golden triangle of the Red Sea.

All the dive sites are offshore reefs with deep dropping walls and potentially interesting currents. As the currents bring for to the reefs that means that the walls with all her cracks and overhangs are fully overgrown with a great variety of hard en soft corals. Big shoals of fusiliers being hunted by trevally, tuna passing by, a giant barracuda hanging under the boat and a great chance to see sharks. Species that are often seen are the Longimanus, a school of Hammerhead sharks, white-tip and grey reef shark, silky sharks and of course the treasure sharks.

Deep walls and currents are abundant on this tour, making it important that you as a diver are certified and comfortable to go 40 meters as well as going on a drift. Depending on the time of year you might encounter quite a bit of sharks and we will brief you how to handle a dive with these beauties in a safe manner. But because of these sharks it is important that you can keep a good buoyancy and can handle medium strong currents, making this a tour for the experiences diver.
